"I have been a Director with the Chamber of Commerce for the past 3 years and trust my enthusiastic participation will be rewarded by being of service for the next term. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with our current board and we have all worked diligently to put Lake Country on the map for all our members and all residents in the community. In the past I have 15 years experience with the Royal Bank and 7 years as a civilian employee dispatching for the RCMP. Five years ago we purchased Lake Country Taxi Ltd., previously operated as Winfield Taxi. Six years ago if someone told me we would own a taxi company I have laughed and said I hardly think so! Do I enjoy serving our residents - yea - it's great! We have come to know many of our customers and gained many friends. We find people in our community are pretty friendly which makes our service fun! I found when I worked with the bank I could only control customer service to a minor degree - the freedom to monitor and ensure our customers get the best possible service is very personally rewarding and this feeling carries over to my duties as a Director for the Chamber and I look forward to serving you again."
